Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!
Miscellaneous details
Shipping:
Don’t worry, I’m not looking to rob you on shipping! I charge actual rates for Priority Mail, tack on a small handling fee for First Class eligible items (usually about half a buck), and charge $3.00 flat on Media Mail eligible items.
If you’re order is being delivered outside the United States I try to get it right for you too! Since the majority of what I sell are flats, generally the best deal is going to be Priority Mail International — for some magazines I can even fit 2 or 3 issues in the same envelope without any additional cost. I also use USPS First Class International.
If you’re not sure, ask, but rest assured that I’m not pocketing much, if anything, of your shipping charges. International buyers, especially those buying multiple items, would probably benefit from a shipping quote in advance of purchase. I don’t want any surprises, some of these magazines can be heavy!
I ship anywhere from 4-6 days per week—domestic orders never sit here for more than 2 days!
Priority Mail International ships within 1 business day of payment. First Class International shipments go out a little less often, as I cannot print these labels online so these packages require a trip to the Post Office—I do this once or twice per week.
Packing:
All magazines ship out flat. They are housed in plastic hobby bags (these aren’t made for your lunch, they’re made for collectibles!) and then sandwiched between cardboard and shipped in an envelope. I’ve been shipping flats online since 2000 and this has worked since that time. It’s both an economical and safe shipping method.
