Machine Thread to Screw Wood Thread Dowel You are invited to bid for 2 new fixings which have a Machined Thread or Bolt Thread to one end and a Wood Screw Thread (Dowel) to the other, ideal for screwing into wood or into masonery with a rawlplug and bolting virtually anything to it, gives a really strong fixing. I use these bolts to suspend a Kitchen Maid ( clothes drier/airer) from the ceiling which is quite some weight and is operated by a pully which places a lot of strain onto the bolts without any problem. The size of theses fixings are M6 x 50 (6mm x 50mm). The bolt thread is approx' 10mm in length and the screw thread is approx' 35 mm in length. Bolts are sheridised steel.
