Simply hammer in eyelets and tie either garden twine or better again wire between the eyelets to hold plants securely against the wall and prevent them from falling over or wind damage.
I have 5 climbing roses - clematis and honeysuckle secured against sandstone garden and house walls which allows the plants to grow strongly and without damage.
