Ok, this is a little weird. Well, a lot weird. It's a rock shaped like a kneecap, or more precisely, the patella bone. I found it near Lake Texoma and it's the strangest color of white, like bone. It's missing a piece on the side, ( found it that way) and the inside has the porous look of broken bone. The top had a fracture crack that makes the top look like it's been well, "kneecapped". It's not a break per say, it's actually a fissure line in the rock, but it is the same size & shape as a kneecap! I'm holding it against my leg to demonstrate (ignore the fat white expanse of thigh, please!!) A great gift for Dom or Guido to remember all the knees he's whacked over the years with a baseball bat! Or just because it's about an 8 on the weird crap-o-meter! I have no idea what this is worth, but I'll start out low and you guys decide! This looks like something out of a Route 66 roadside carnival sideshow if I ever saw one! "Fossilized prehistoric man's kneecap" or some such amazing advertising! I'm sure you remember all the sideshows and carnivals that had things like this in them in the 40's-60's, or earlier! As rocks shaped like body parts go, this one is pretty good, very Piltdown Man, except I didn't fake it, picked it up this way and hopefully it will go on to a long illustrious career as a featured attraction at someone's roadside show or website coming attraction! Pass the popcorn please!
