A treasure chest lot of mostly coins of the world, from the mid 1800s to the present, but mostly older coins from Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, Soviet Union, South America, Canada and even New Zealand. There are a couple of old US coins as well. I'm no expert in coins, but I've reasearched some of these on the internet and most seem to be in the $1.00- $5.00 range, with a few in the $15.00 range. I wasn't able to research the Asian coins, because they have characters on them that I'm unable to interpret. The condition of the coins range from very good to pretty well-worn, so it is sort of a grab bag. There are brass, copper, aluminum and even a few coins that look to be silver, but I'm not sure of the content. These could be used for re-sale or to start a collection if desired. There is a total of 204 coins in this lot, with a few tokens and novelty coins mixed in. It's a nice lot for the money and comes in a great lacquer wood treasure chest style box with brass-tone metal details that can be used for jewelry or trinkets, so this is a good value. I'm selling these for the coins, though, so the box is just a bonus.
