I just purchased a collection of dog figurines. This is a Scottie Dog figure, about 3" tall, Scottie Dog.  I believe it to be approximately 1940's or 50's. He has no markings. I am not entirely sure what he is made of....It could even be carved anthricite.  No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
