. This knife was handcrafted from a steel Railroad spike that has been buffed and polished to a shiny finish. It is signed by the maker, B. Wilkins. The knife measures apprx 8 5/8" x 7/8" and weighs apprx 11 oz. The steel of the hilt is "turned" or "curled" (see pic) and has a deep finger choil, which together, provide an excellent grip. The knife fits snugly in the leather sheath which is included. This unique knife would make a wonderful one-of-a kind gift for a one-of-a kind guy.
