A childrens book with a central 12 year old boy who is alone and goes on adventures. This book series was very popular and published 1853- early 1900's. I am not sure of the exact date for publication of this book.

This book has great character, a teacher's gift to a student for good attendance and is inscripted on the inside cover! Check picture, the handwriting style reflects the age of the book. A great talking point for any book collector.
