We have decorated our horse shoes with care so they will blend with many decors, and would be a focal point on any wall. This horseshoe would make a great little "bon voyage" gift for any person who is about to embark on a cruise or bring back memories to those who have taken cruises in the past. We started with a used horseshoe straight from the farrier, cleaned it up, and painted it red (front and back). We added a blue leather hanging strap and decorated the horseshoe with "cruise ship" foam stickers. There is a ship, a red and white life preserver, a blue striped deck chaise lounge, an anchor, and a portal. The main colors are red, white, and blue. The horseshoe measures apprx 5" x 5" and weighs apprx 10 oz.. It hangs flat against the wall, about 7.25" from the tip of the leather strap to the bottom of the horseshoe. We will be adding more horseshoes with different themes and colors, so please check back frequently.
