. It is a age old tradition to nail a horse shoe with the pointed ends up, to hold in good luck. We have decorated our horse shoes with care so they will blend with many decors, and would be a focal point on any wall. This horseshoe will bring back memories of warm summer days spent at the carnival -- good eats, fun rides, and games of chance. It would be a conversation piece on the wall of any room. We started with a used horseshoe straight from the farrier, cleaned it up, and painted it white (front and back). We added a bright turquoise leather hanging strap and decorated the horseshoe with "carnival" stickers. There is a roller coaster, box of popcorn, ferris wheel, "fluffy" cotton candy and a ride ticket. The main colors are white, silver, and different shades of pink, red and blue. The horseshoe measures apprx 4.5" x 5" and weighs apprx 8 oz.. It hangs flat against the wall, about 7" from the tip of the leather strap to the bottom of the horseshoe. We will be adding more horseshoes with different themes and colors, so please check back frequently.
