A Native American Northeast Woodlands Indian oak splint wall basket signed on the bottom. The signature is difficult to read, but it looks like "Domas". This basket measures about 9 1/2 inches long by 5 3/4 inches wide at the bottom. It measures 10 1/2 inches high to the top of the handle. The front of the basket has a great curliecue porcupine twist decoration in a diamond pattern. There are some places where the splint has some narrow strands that stick out, but overall this basket is in good to very good condition.
