Offered for your consideration is a wonderful Woodblock, signed and numbered by Lucile Patterson Marsh, an American Illustrator. This is in it's original 40s frame and from what we have been told this woodblock was from either the late 30s or early 40s. We have never removed the brown paper on the back. If you see reflections, this piece is framed with glass. Patterson Marsh was born in 1890 and her illustrations spanned from approximately the 1920s- 1970s. Patterson Marsh was best known for her advertising illustrations where her work appeared in major magazines. Much of her work was done for General Foods. Patterson Marsh illustrated children and her advertising pages from magazines are highly collectible. We acquired this great piece by Patterson Marsh several years ago and have hung it on our walls in two homes. Serious inquiries only. The actual woodblock print measures approximately 12 1/2 x 15 1/4". Frame measurement is 18 1/2" x 22 1/2". Print is matted.
