Your Bid is for two nice sugar maples these are 2 to 3 feet tall!.In the fall, the sugar maple becomes the most colorful tree in the forest. A magnificent tree of the more northerly eastern forests, this is the tree whose leaf appears on the Canadian flag. As a shade tolerant, slow growing tree, the sugar maple often grows up under oak forests in the southern part of its range, and under birch forests farther north. Due to the dense shade this tree casts, the forest floor under a grove of sugar maples is often free of undergrowth. This is the tree whose sap is used to produce maple syrup, as this sap is both the most concentrated and best tasting of all native maple saps. The sugar maple flowers after its leaves come out. The flowers are green, and insect pollinated. The fall foliage is usually orange or red, and the whole tree generally turns at once.
