BUILD AN OLD FASHIONED PIGGERY 1852 PLANS PIG HOG HOUSE

For those interested in raising a pig or a few pigs on your farm or other facility, this is a superb plan from 1852 for a building to house them.

It's a classy looking outfit and surely a great size for nearly any farm. It's construction is within the realm of nearly anyone with basic carpentry skills.

This plan, which includes construction details, is for a building, 36 feet long, and 24 feet wide, with twelve-feet posts; the lower, or living room for the swine, 9 feet high, and a storage chamber above, for the grain and other food required for his keeping.
