Up for your consideration is a lovely vintage opalescent bowl that I believe to be from the Jefferson Glass Company, 1905-1910.    This lovely bowl has a unique contrast of the opalescent, wavy and ruffled perimeter with the intricate circle and oval patterns on the sides and the center of the bowl.  Opalescent glass is a generalized term for clear and semi-opaque pressed glass. The opalescent effect is a glass making technique used by many manufacturers to greater or lesser degrees of artistry, produced in the cooling process which creates the milky opalescent effect which illuminates any coloration when light shines on it.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
