Beautiful hand carved Red Jade Stone Japanese Lantern. Very ornate with exquisite detailed craftsmanship from a master carver. Inlaid bronze Oriental symbols.
A perfect accent piece to add to your collection for your home or office! This lantern makes a statement of quality, unique and very rare. Museum quality! The jade is not jadeite or "A" jade found in jewelry. It may have some color enhancement but when I tested it, the color did not remove. Portions of the carving has a creamy translucent appearance.

CONDITION: Excellent condition! Unknown age.

MEASUREMENTS: About 26" H x 9.5" D.

CARE: It is important to care for your jade carvings by wiping them down with a beeswax on a regular basis. I also recommend that you keep a small glass of water in your curio cabinets where you display your carvings to add moisture to the air. Do not display in a harsh sunlight.
