5 VINTAGE REDWING CHINA LUTE SONG PATTERN SAUCERS! LOVELY HAND PAINTED "TRUE" CHINA BY RED WING U.S.A. 5 Cream & Brown Speckled 6 1/4" Saucers with a Lute and turquoise blue Chinese Characters on the top. Each saucer is marked on the bottom with a number as well. 4 of the saucers are in excellent condition and are marked with "true China by Red Wing U.S.A. hand painted #242 or #232". One of these 4 has a 1/4" surface crack on the rim that looks like it might have come in the original firing. The 5th saucer is a bit different as the Chinese character on the front is much simpler and the back is marked "Lute Song by Red Wing detergent proof, oven proof #245". This saucer has a chip on the rim-1/2" x 1/8". This lovely pattern is becoming a bit harder to find and is quite unique and fun!
