PAPERBACK BOOK - CADOGAN GUIDE TO INDIA - BY FRANK KUSY
FROM THE BACK COVER: "Revel in the charm of India. Called the 'Golden Bird of the East', India is a whirling dervish of exotic enchantment and beauty. Seasoned travel writer Frank Kusy takes you from the tranquility of India's national parks to city streets packed with bullock carts, cycle rickshaws, sacred cows, snake charmers, and colorful heaps of spices, fruits and vegetables.
You will see tiny local temples, quaint pavement shrines, and out-of-the-way curio shops. You will learn about the Sanskrit literary classics of the Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita. You will see a puia ceremony in South India, in which the gods are shown the setting sun to the accompaniment of bells, flutes, and drums.
Along the way, learn about India's fascinating history, manners, and mores. This distinguished travel guide - now completely updated in its second edition - provides you with all the practical information you need, from where to eat and stay to what is appropriate to wear."

ABOUT MY BOOK LISTINGS:
I have devised a book grading system that will allow you to determine, at a glance, the condition of the book you are bidding on. I am VERY meticulous in examining books that I list, and unless it is a very rare book, I will not list one that is in extremely poor condition. Additionally, you will never see a 'stock photo' on my book listings - the picture you see is what you will receive.
GRADE A+ = book is in new or like new condition - binding is uncreased, no bent pages or wear to the cover. May have a price sticker on the cover (front, back, or inside the cover), or may show very minor shelf wear.
GRADE A = book is in excellent used condition, with only minor binding creasing (words on binding are still very readable), and minor wear to the cover (minor corner bumping or creasing, or a minor crease to the cover that does not compromise the appearance of the cover images). May have a price sticker on the cover (front, back or inside the cover), or may show wear to the pages from use. If a bookjacket is present, it may show wear to the surface but is not torn.
GRADE B = book is in good used condition, with creasing, bumped corners or wear to the covers and/or pages, possibly a name written inside the book cover or first pages. May have a price sticker on the cover (front, back or inside the cover) or may have sticker residue. If bookjacket is present, it may have edge wear or minor tears at edges. This category may include former library books, which are only in this category due to being used & having one or all of the following features: clear plastic dustjacket, library identification stickers, library identification ink stamps inside the book, library card pocket, ink writing inside either cover. Many former library books are in almost new condition.
GRADE B- =
book will show significant wear to the cover and/or binding, but no missing or torn pages. Many antiquarian books may fall into this category due to age. A paperback Grade B- book may have significant wear and/or creasing to the cover and binding, but no tears or missing pages. This is the lowest grade book I will list.
NOTE: BOOKS CAN BE SHIPPED VIA USPS MEDIA MAIL FOR A FLAT RATE (SHOWN BELOW) ACCORDING TO SIZE. THIS IS THE CHEAPEST WAY TO SHIP A BOOK, BUT IS ALSO THE SLOWEST, AND MAY TAKE 10 DAYS OR MORE TO REACH YOU.
