Up for sale is a vintage Homer Laughlin Mexicana Platter in the Century shape. A beautiful ivory colored glaze banded in the red stripe. Manufactured in the 1930 - 1940's. There are a couple of very teeny marks - nothing deep - on the upper rim. Some very faint marks on the tray itself. Minimal wear to the red striping. A couple of teeny spots where the decal was scratched. Overall, decal is intact, bright and shiny. On the back there is a small flat chip on the back of the right handle, on the left there are 2 very small bites - none can be seen from the front. Some light scratch marks on the back as would be expected. No other noted cracks, chips or hairlines. The tray measures 13 1/4" x 10". The backside is unmarked and is definitely a Laughlin piece. We try to be overly critical of every "flaw" so that you know what you are investing in. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
