Up for sale is a gorgeous Old Royal English Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer. The cup has a gently fluted body and delicate handle. Decorated with violets and greenery on both sides as well as the interior. The saucer also decorated with violets, the china is delicately embossed. Both pieces hand trimmed in gold which appears to be totally intact. The china itself is a snowy white - photos seem to make it look creamier. No cracks, chips or crazing noted. There are a couple of very faint marks on the saucer where the cup sits. There are 2 very faint and very small areas of discoloration on the back of the saucer that appear to be under the glaze. The cup measures 2 3/4" tall, is 3 1/4" in diameter, and measures 3 13/16" across the handle. It holds 6 oz. The saucer is 5 1/2" in diameter.
