They are made from Alpaca Silver. Not silver we are accustomed to, but rather an alloy made from a combination of metals that resists tarnishing. The thread used doesn’t resemble plain ordinary thread you use to sew up your clothing with. It has a shiny and almost glittery look to it that makes these earrings come alive with color. To me, the design of this jewelry is reminiscent of the Childs toy called a Spirograph. It was a toy that drew out these fantastic geometric shapes and these earrings remind me of those shapes.
