These earrings are handcrafted by artisans in Peru and imported for your wearing delight. They are made from Alpaca Silver. Not silver we are accustomed to, but rather an alloy made from a combination of metals that resists tarnishing. The thread used doesn’t resemble plain ordinary thread you use to sew up your clothing with. It has a shiny and almost glittery look to it that makes these earrings come alive with color. To me, the design of this jewelry is reminiscent of the Childs toy called a Spirograph. It was a toy that drew out these fantastic geometric shapes and these earrings remind me of those shapes. The colors used in this pair are a sunny yellow, blue and a beautiful Green. Very light and airy to wear on the hot Summer days.
