MINIATURE HAND KNIT & CROCHETED
BEDSPREAD RUG SET

I knit and crocheted this miniature dollhouse bedspread and rug set in a smoke-free home. I used a thin thread-weight yarn in a dusty shade of mauve. This is a very greyish purple tone.

The bedspread or afghan is knit with ridged openwork panels. The edges are crocheted. It measures 7 inches from side to side and 6 1/2 inches from top to bottom.

The crocheted rug is crocheted with matching purple thread and a dark green accent. It has a prim look featuring granny stitch stripes. The fringe is hand-knotted and stitched in place. This tiny rug measures 4 3/8 inches wide and 6 3/4 inches from end to end (counting the fringe.)
