I am selling 2003 1st softcover edition of Latitude Zero, published by Carroll & Graf, an imprint of Avalaon Publishing Company.

This book was written by Italian historian Antony Shugaar, Gianni Guadalupi and translated into English by Antony Shugaar.

It is 247 pages long with several black & white maps and illustrations.
This softcover book is in very good condition. It appears never to have been read and has no marks of prior ownership. The block is tigh; the pages are clean and crisp.

The cover looks good except for some rubbing/black stains on back cover and some rubbing on upper right corner of front cover, as pictured.

This collection of vignettes looks at equatorial exploration, with an emphasis on travels to Africa, South America and Oceania. Of special interest is Sir Walter Raleigh's quest for El Dorado and the legendary search for the source of the Nile.
