Child's Crocheted Vest Pattern

I carefully removed this pattern for a child's crochet vest from a 1988 issue of Hooked on Crochet magazine. It is two pages long and I protected each sheet with clear contact paper.

There is a tiny crease on the photo of the vest, so I reduced the price.
This cute vest is pictured on a boy in gray yarn, but would work just fine for a little girl.

The pattern uses a fuzzy sport-weight yarn and a G and I hook size. The design uses cluster stitches worked around posts which gives a really unusual "cable" effect. Combined with the openwork shell stitches, this looks to be a fun and fast project for a crocheter with intermediate skills.

This pattern is designed by Carolyn Christmas. Please note the instructions are written the old-fashioned way, not graphically diagrammed.

I ship patterns with USPS First Class Mail. I give buyer-friendly shipping discounts on multiple purchases. So make an offer if you want more than one item!
