ANIMAL TALES by Ivan T. Sanderson
I am offering the Third Printing (March, 1956) edition of the classic anthology edited by cryptozoologist Ivan T. Sanderson. This 510 page classic was first published in 1946.
Sanderson's anthology contains 31 chapters of different global regions. Each chapter includes Sanderson's commentary on the regions, an animal story either fictional or true, as well as a stunning brush painting by Sanderson that illustrates that animal of that chapter.
This book is a great addition to your collection of geography, nature, zoology and exploration.
This hard back edition has a dust jacket and mylar cover in very good condition. The book is ex-libris and is stamped with "Discard Scottdale Library" on the front free endpaper, half title page and dedication page. Otherwise, there is no other sign of library processing.
The block and hinges are tight. The deckled pages are yellowing, but without tears or creases.
I ship books with USPS Media Mail. I give buyer-friendly shipping discounts on multiple purchases. So make an offer if you want more than one item!
