This is a very pretty cup and saucer set. The decorations are hand painted under glaze. This pattern is called Fruit. One side of the cup has leaves; but there is no fruit. Both inside of cup and saucer have a wide green band and yellow trim. The back side of the saucer is brown. Stangl Pottery lines were produced from 1955 until 1978, when it was purchased by Pfaltzgraff. The cup measures 2 3/8" tall and 3 5/8" diameter; the saucer is 6 1/8" across. The bottom of both the cup and saucer is marked in the center: Stangl / POTTERY / TRENTON, N.J. / FRUIT. The set is in good to very good condition. There is no damage to the saucer; no flea-bites, no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no repairs. The cup has moderate crazing, and light staining under the glaze shows on the bottom; see the last photo.
