Bought it more than 10 yrs. ago!!I It does work-wind up with key!. Perfect condition!! The Germans rarely marked their clocks because most were used for export, and they were essentially imitating French clocks for foreign markets. The style of hands on the face of the clock were used in all three countries (England, France and Germany). One of the keys here however is that your clock is a timepiece, it does not strike. Timepieces were produced in large numbers in mantel, wall and grandfather clocks in Germany. Brass needs Cleaning-as found.
