This is a lovely platter in the Stetson Rio shape. It has pink flowers, brown centers and stems, green leaves along with pink lines hand painted under glaze on the creamy white body. The Stetson China Company was in Lincoln Illinois from 1946 to 1966. Their hand painted dinnerware is very similar to Blue Ridge / Southern Potteries. The platter measures 11 3/4" from end to end. The bottom is stamp marked in green under glaze: Rio / INDIVIDUALLY HAND / PAINTED UNDER GLAZE / by / STETSON CHINA CO. / LINCOLN ILL.
