Edition limited to 2,000 copies. Undated, believed to be 1975 & self-published. Internal pages clean and unmarked, main flaw is rear blank endpage has been removed. Cover has very light edge/corner wear, scuffing/light scratches to rear cover, light upturning of front corners.

This Rubaiyat was translated by Edward Fitzgerald. Most people are familiar with Edward Fitzgerald's translation, but what they do not know is that he actually translated the Rubaiyat five times over a period of many years towards the end of the 1800s. Apparently the original leather bound collectors Limited Edition sold for $1,600 a copy. Contains a story at the rear as to how this book came to be. Calligraphy by Margery O. Erickson.
