This vintage Navajo Indian Kingman Turquoise Silver Concho belt is absolutely fabulous and top quality! This fabulous Kingman Turquoise belt came from an old trading post that recently closed after 35 years! This belt is estimated to have been made in the late 1970's by Navajo master silversmith Tom Charley. Tom Charley is world renown for his exquisite workmanship and has won many awards. Tom Charley is also known for helping to revive the old classic style of Navajo jewelry.
This gorgeous belt features eight conchos, nine butterflies and a belt buckle all hand crafted from heavy gauge Sterling silver with a nice aged patina! The traditional hand stamped designs are absolutely exquisite and done with precision details and highly skilled craftsmanship! The buckle and conchos prominently feature gorgeous nuggets of genuine Kingman turquoise with beautiful natural matrix! The gorgeous soft brown leather belt compliments the fabulous sheen of the sterling silver conchos!
The belt buckle measure 1-3/8" wide x 2-3/8" long. Each of the conchos measures 1-1/4" x 1-1/2". The butterflies are 3/4" x 1-1/4". Comes on a complimentary 52" genuine brown leather belt. Stamped Sterling and signed by the Navajo master silversmith Tom Charley!
